Why I’m Running for Parliament
I have seen firsthand how bureaucracy, lack of accountability, lack of integrity, and outdated policies hold people back. That’s why I am stepping up, to bring real-world solutions to government.
Too many politicians make promises but don’t deliver, because they are not based on data. As a researcher, I can provide evidence-based resolutions to issues that every Australian face in their daily life. I know what it takes to modernise our education system, support small businesses, and create a government that works for the people, not against them.
I’m also committed to fighting for greater integrity in politics and systems, by strengthening accountability mechanisms and protecting whistleblowers. Without transparency, Australians lose trust in their government and leaders… and that needs to change.
About Amelie Hanna
I am Amelie Hanna, an educator, website & instructional designer, researcher, and advocate with 25 years of experience in public administration, business, and educational technology. I’ve dedicated my career to helping people thrive, whether by teaching students, supporting entrepreneurs, or championing integrity in our systems.
My journey began in business and public administration, but my passion for technology and education led me to academic research and teaching at leading Australian universities. I have developed an e-learning program to train disadvantaged communities, including migrants, in digital skills and business creation. I also volunteered in a number of organisations in Adelaide and continue to help disadvantaged individuals to establish their online businesses.
