I have been a member of Pirate Party Australia since 2012, promoting the party and assisting with several of our election campaign efforts while living in Brisbane before moving to Adelaide. My main political focus is promoting civil liberties, individual freedoms, and open access to online culture. I am disturbed by the increasing censorship of free expression, both in public discussion and in the media, and believe we should defend the right to free speech and protect journalistic integrity.

I am concerned with the increasing threats to our freedom of expression, and with widely accessible information online being scripted or suppressed by a handful of tech and media companies along with their wealthy global partners.
