Ian Bryce
Candidate for the Senate (NSW)

I stand for the application of reason to improving human welfare. Over many decades, I have been promoting the principles now combined in the Fusion Party:
- Use of science and reason to understand how the world works, and addressing fake news – through work with the Skeptics and Rationalists.
- No privileges for religion. Reclaiming the $40 billion lost to churches could do much for schools and hospitals – through standing as a candidate for the Secular Party in three previous elections.
- Use of respectful discussion – teaching Ethics in primary schools for 11 years, Humanist activism since 1981.
- Urgent action on climate – campaigned extensively to promote the science and explain the urgency.
- Personal freedoms and the responsibilities that brings – many written articles on human rights.
