Kammy Cordner Hunt
Candidate for the Senate (VIC)

I have been an environmental activist since my uni days, then decided some of us have to be "at the table", in government, influencing policy to protect our future.
We have arrived at a tipping point where the aspirations of the wealthiest nations, corporations and individuals are colliding with the capacity of Earth's ecosystems to accommodate them.
But we already have the solutions for this – ready to roll out! We just need the political will to initiate them. I am standing for election to help build Australia's response to the climate emergency, and to push for a strong Federal ICAC to restore trust in politics.
FUSION gives us a serious chance of being "at the table", just when integrity, transparency, true democracy and the independence of politicians have never been more important.
Bio
Kammy has a BSc, is completing her Masters of Human Rights, and has taught senior science in schools. Her decades in the political sphere – as a local government councillor, a state representative candidate, and a federal senate candidate – have been all about environmental stewardship and a fair society.
She lives in rural Victoria, and co-founded Vote Planet as a climate action party, to be an alternative environmental party with the most ambitious emissions reduction targets, for the 2019 election.
