My name is Adrien Aloe, and I’m proud to announce my candidacy to represent Hindmarsh in the 2025 Federal Election. I’ve lived in this community my entire life, and I know firsthand the challenges many of you are facing. I’ve experienced them from almost every angle—housing stress, rising costs, job uncertainty—and I understand these issues not only as a local resident but as an Australian who wants to see real, lasting change.
Hindmarsh, like many parts of the country, is under pressure. We’re facing a cost-of-living crisis, rising inflation, an energy system under strain, uncertain job markets, and a lack of adequate support for everyday Australians. I’m running because I believe we deserve better—from our youngest children to our elderly, from small business owners to wage earners, from the sick to the healthy. I’m not here to serve an agenda—I’m here to serve you.
I am currently a third year Business student at University of SA, studying a Bachelor of Business (Economics, Finance and Trade), with aspirations to pursue a career into Economics and Defense.
What sets me apart from the other candidates? From day one, I will fight for:
- A Fair and Free Economy – I will work to lower unnecessary barriers and restrictions that stifle competition. By empowering small and emerging businesses, we can build a more competitive and prosperous economy.
- Personal and Private Freedoms – I will protect your rights against growing intrusions by corporations and third parties. I will also push for greater transparency and crack down on corruption at every level.
- Streamlined Bureaucracy – Australia’s bloated bureaucracy is a drain on our national budget. By cutting red tape and simplifying systems, we can redirect funds to where they’re truly needed.
- Lower Prices for Everyday Australians – I will advocate for smart, effective policies that address the root causes of rising costs, helping create a more affordable and liveable Hindmarsh.
But I can’t do this alone—I need your support. I’m not here for status or titles. I’m here because I believe in democracy, in service, and in the power of people to shape their future.
My name is Adrien Aloe, and I’m throwing my hat into the ring to represent Hindmarsh. Let’s not forget: it’s called the House of Representatives, not the chamber of kings. They’re called public servants for a reason.
Let’s build a stronger, fairer, and more united Australia—together.
