Victorian State Election
The Victorian election is coming up in November and we are working to get registered so we can run Fusion candidates on the ballot!
Victorians are at risk of harsher penalties for protesters who attempt to stop native forest logging, and expanded offshore gas exploration. Help us bring policies that are good for people and good for the environment to the state election.
We will soon need to prove to the Victorian Electoral Commission that we have 500 party members in Victoria. Can you sign up a Victorian friend as a Fusion member at https://www.fusionparty.org.au/join? Please stay tuned for the next important steps.
Our July meeting will look at our Victorian plans in more detail, as well as election fundraising and other reports following the end of financial year.
When: Wednesday 27th July, 7–8pm AEST
RSVP for the Zoom link: https://www.fusionparty.org.au/meeting20220727
We're looking for dedicated volunteers to join a few new teams that will work together to build our presence. More details to follow, but please get in touch if you'd like more information:
Seeking Victorian volunteers to support candidates at the state election.
Seeking community-builders to connect with members, supporters and like-minded organisations.
Seeking writers and designers to share our messages.
If this sounds like you, sign up on our Volunteer page!
As always, you can help raise Fusion's profile by following us on social media and sharing our content. You can also join our Discord community (instructions here).
Thanks for reading!
