Submission writing workshop: Combatting the Misinfo and Disinfo Bill 2024

The "Combatting Misinfo and Disinfo Bill 2024" is now open for public submissions until Monday September 30th. This isn't long, so we're holding a submission writing workshop this Saturday to get our opinions in.

We are concerned about the risk of misuse for this bill, in particular to potential risks for free speech. However we also acknowledge there may be harms from misuse of unlimited free speech. For this workshop we will explore the bill, understand its implications, design alternative solutions and make critical submissions to the inquiry.
