Fusion's AGM is is an opportunity to find out what the party has been up to, vote on proposed changes to the association's constitution and, my favourite part, vote for the members who will lead the organisation for the next year.
This is Fusion's first AGM since the amalgamation of the founding parties. As such, this will be the first time that all members will have an opportunity to determine who forms the executive committee. All positions other than Branch Representatives are up for grabs.
You can read more about the available positions in the constitution here.
If you would like to throw your hat in the ring to be part of this committee, please let the current executive know. All submissions will be made available to members prior to the AGM and if you attend the AGM personally, you will be given an opportunity to address the other members.
Here's a few things to include in your submission:
- Who are you and what is your background?
- Why are you a member of Fusion and what future or vision do you see for the party?
- Which role are you nominating for and why are you interested in taking on the role?
- What will you bring to the table that will make you the best person for the position?

Want to get more involved but not up for the commitment of the executive committee? There are a lot of volunteering opportunities across the organisation. Reach out to the executive to let us know you want to be involved.
